Weekly Round-Up

This week we...
... worked on the frame for the mosaic tree.

Before I sanded it.

After I sanded it with my new Christmas power tools!  And after I decided to paint instead of stain it, meaning I didn't have to remove every speck of paint, I just needed it to be smooth.

"Thanks, sweetie!"  (I still can't hammer straight to save my life.)

… checked Star Trek Voyager out of the library and started watching it. (Maybe next year I'll get a spaceship for Christmas....)
... started tearing tissue paper for a papier mache project:
