May Budget

Ah, May!  The school year ends, the summer begins, and the garden grows.

It's a lovely time.

Budget-wise, it's not so hot.  The Amazon link generated $1.58 work of income.  We bought new beds, so we now actually have a guest room bed and we got rid of our old mattress, which was long overdue, but that was a big chunk of change.  Plus car insurance.  Despite my temp work, we still took money out of savings.

Hopefully June will be better.  And there's still lots to be grateful for in life.

Book on Paper Crafting

I want this book.  Please, someone buy it for me for my birthday!

Free Day!

Good news: I don't have to go anywhere today!

Bad news: I have 22 things on my To Do list.

Let's see if I can get half of them done.   A little challenge....

UPDATE:
I added 7 thing to my list.... and crossed off 8 things, plus one I just decided not to do....

Yup--one of those days!

Weekly Round-Up

Weekly Round-Up

This week I….

... Helped my sister Chrissy move into her new house

... Finished my temp job.  (I really enjoyed it, much to my surprise.  The pay was pretty dismal, but then I compared it to how much I make crafting and then I felt better.)

... Showed Arwen how to use the compost shifter.

... Had friends over for BBQ and gluten-free beer.  (It wasn't bad, apparently.)

Obviously, she knows Belovest can cook!

... Harvested our first strawberries!
