We got dirt under our nails for the first time in 2016-- we planted strawberries today.
They came way, way too early. (Um, Gurney--we live in Nebraska where the weather is more or less random...?) But they were bare root and tiny, so getting them in the dirt seemed the best chance for their survival.
Woohoo! So far, I've got some random flower seeds (seriously, they were a random mixed packet Mom got from the Sierra club) in pots to hopefully get a head start on spring. I'm going to try for my BeeSafe certification & these are the ticket.
