Having done some pricing, we are now leaning more toward.....
Comments? What's the coolest... oddest... cheapest raised bed you've ever seen? Has anyone tried using troughs to garden in? I'm worried that they are going to be awful hot in July....
Doug's folks use a couple of old tractor tires as raised beds - matches the farm atmosphere pretty well. :) I think they also have an old wash basin as a raised flower bed, too. (looks similar to this - http://www.sandhilleast.com/product.sc?productId=117 ) I think the troughs would match your yard better than tires, though. Gen
